Szántódpuszta

The living Manor

Szántódpuszta Manor is a historic building whose interior design, furnishings, decorations, and printed elements were conceived and executed by our team at Fantastigo.

Our team played a key role in the reopening of Szántódpuszta Manor, contributing to the project's success in numerous areas, from the execution of interior design to the creation of visual elements and the integration of modern technological solutions. During the interior design phase, our team placed great emphasis on creating an environment that authentically reflects the historic atmosphere and 19th-century heritage of the manor while meeting the expectations of today’s visitors. In designing the interiors and furnishings, we blended traditional aesthetics with contemporary design solutions, creating a unique and captivating ambiance.

We also took charge of designing the exhibition’s decorations, props, and printed elements, which became central to the visual storytelling. These components not only hold aesthetic value but also help visitors gain a deeper understanding of the daily life in a 19th-century manor. One of the project’s standout features was the integration of augmented reality (AR) technology. The interactive AR elements we developed added a new dimension to the exhibition experience, enabling visitors not only to view but also actively explore and "relive" the history of the manor.

The "Living Manor" showcases the everyday life of 19th-century manorial households and offers a unique insight into the history of Szántódpuszta.Historically, the area served as a manor for the Abbey of Tihany.

Today, the manor not only recalls the past but also offers visitors an exciting cultural experience. The interactive exhibition The Journey of Wheat is housed in the Granary building. It invites visitors on a fascinating journey into the daily lives of rural households, demonstrating how wheat essential for bread-making was cultivated and how agriculture became a vital part of self-sufficiency.

The exhibition connects local history with farming practices, enriching the visitor experience with interactive elements.

One of the most impressive buildings of Szántódpuszta is the manor house, often referred to as the "castle" by the local community.

Through another interactive exhibition, visitors can explore the manor's history and delve into the everyday life of the 19th century. The interior design of the building and the innovative technological solutions offer visitors a unique experience, allowing them to witness the convergence of the past and the modern world.

The Szántódpuszta Manor is more than just a museum; it is a dynamic, living venue where visitors can explore the past in an interactive way, experiencing the seamless blend of modern technology and history.
